PUBLIC NOTICE - Board Vacancy

The Board of Directors, Columbia School District #206, is seeking applicants to fill a School Board Director vacancy in Director District #3.  Applicants must be registered voters of the District and reside within the boundaries of Director District #3.  Maps of the district boundaries are available at Columbia School.  Qualified applicants are asked to submit letters of interest to the Superintendent, Columbia SD#206, PO Box 7, Hunters, WA 99137.  Additionally, this position is open for election in the November 2017 election.  Anyone interested in serving on the school board is encouraged to file for election with the Stevens County Elections Office during the May filing window.           

 

HS Volleyball and Basketball Coaches Needed.  Columbia School District has openings for the following coaching positions: Assistant HS Volleyball Coach and Head HS Girls Basketball Coach.  Submit letters of application to Curt Nelson, Athletic Director, Columbia SD #206, PO Box 7, Hunters, WA  99137, or call (509) 722-3311.  Closes 6/12/2017.   

 

PUBLIC HEARING

Budget Extension

The Board of Directors, Columbia School District #206, will hold a public hearing on June 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the school for the purpose of considering a budget extension of the 2016-17 General Fund budget.   Any person wishing to speak at this meeting either for or against the extension to the budget, or any part thereof, may appear at this meeting and will be heard.   The monthly School Board Meeting will be held immediately following the public hearing.

  • Columbia is offering a summer math camp for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. Please have your child sign up in the office, or call Jill in the office at 722-3311.  We will offer buses running north and south routes on the main highway.  See flyer attached for more information   JR.
